Unlock the potential of the Brain with this Master Course intended to introduce the dynamic relationship between the brain, body and human behavior. Highlighting the inner workings and mechanisms of the brain as a machine, learn how the “core processor” influences and governs our body’s sensations, motivation, emotions, learning and cognitive functions which include: language learning, decision making and overall processing the world in which we live. Get to know more about the most complicated machine, the brain, with the roles of brain cells and how they communicate with the rest of the body in an exciting and interactive class.

Course Objectives

1. Understanding and explaining the relationship between the brain, body and human behavior.
2. Explaining mechanisms governing sensations, motivation, emotions, learning and cognitive functions which include: language, learning and decision making.
3. Understanding the mechanisms causing brain and mental disorders such as dementia, drug addiction.
